NASCAR atmosphere in a virtual world environment. We achieve this by
offering Cup, BGN, CTS and IROC

schedules. We offer both custom
made and league merchandise. ORCA
houses company sponsored drivers and

the end of the racing season. Join ORCA today where professional online racing is at its very best!
What do I need to race in ORCA?

mandatory that you have a steering wheel system in all leagues except the Rookie series.

Is a membership fee required to race in ORCA?
The Rookie Circuit is FREE*, but once you get
promoted, you will be required to pay a membership
fee. This fee is pro-rated, depending on how
many events are left in the season, and helps pay
for server expenses, payouts, etc.... To view
the pro-rated membership fees, visit the
Driver Application page.
How do I join ORCA?
You need to fill out an application on the
Driver Application page.
I just filled out a driver application, now what do I need to do?
You need to go to the
Member Login page. Once you have a login name and password, you will have access to your driver profile. You can upload carfiles, driver information and sponsor information in the driver profile area.
I just registered for the Forum. Why can't I access the Drivers Lounge or my league forum?
You need to send an email to the league President containing your registered forum name so you can be granted access to your league forum and receive the Drivers Lounge password.
Can I really win cash and prizes in ORCA?
Yes. Once you've graduated from the Rookie
Circuit, you'll be competing for cash and prizes.
How do I see the other cars on the track?
Depending on the league you run in, click on the car files link on the left to download ORCA car files. This will enable you to see your fellow racers and their paint schemes.
How many races make up a season?
ORCA follows the complete
NASCAR schedules. Depending on the league you are in, click the schedule link on the left for complete details.
Can I join ORCA mid-way through a season?
Yes, you begin your career in the Rookie
Circuit which is open throughout the entire season. Once you have proven your skills, you will be
promoted even mid-season.
How do I get information needed to race?
Your Admin will send out a weekly drivers meeting email to all the drivers which contains race info and server info.
What is expected of me as an ORCA driver?
As an ORCA driver, you're expected to conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism both on & off the track. Drivers that flame, complain or retaliate on or off the track, depending on the severity, will either be penalized harshly or removed from the league.
I read that I'll have to start in the Rookie
Circuit. How long will it take before I can be promoted to bigger and better
things?
Yes, you must begin your ORCA career in the Rookie
Circuit*, but once you've demonstrated enough skill to race competitively, you'll be promoted just as soon as a spot is available. Depending on your skill level, a promotion could take place in as little as
1-3 weeks.
* If you have a proven driving record from another league that shows you are an experienced and skilled driver, you will not have to begin in the Rookie series.
What does LPI, PP and PT stand for in the standings?
LPI - Laps per Incident - Average number of laps between "chargeable" incidents (as determined by the incident (IC) and appeals (AC) committees).
PP - Penalty Points - Total number of penalty points accumulated during the season.
PT - Penalty Tracker - Once this number reaches 120 or more, a driver must serve a one race suspension without provisional points. Once the suspension is served, the PT value is reset back to 0. This number is also reset at the conclusion of every 12th race.
Do I need authorization to have a sponsor on my car?
Yes. This is to ensure the most realistic racing environment. Too many leagues have bogus sponsors and by ensuring that permission has been granted to advertise for a
company, it protects the paying companies that support ORCA and keeps the sponsorship field authentic.
My question is not answered here.
